到着！

やっと両親の家に到着した。

アラナさんのところから月曜日の昼からフィラデルフィア市へ行きました。おじのジョーさんとおばのジュディーさんが市の近くに住んでいる。だからそこに泊まった。（本当にありがとう！）いとこのジェシーさんが犬のことに手伝ってくれた。犬が旅行で心配していた。

火水曜日にUniversity of Pennsylvaniaに行った。楽しかった。きれいなキャンパスだと思う。いい人がたくさんおった.

昨日午後三時ころに家から出て、ハンティングダン市を向かっていった。七時に着いた。めちゃ疲れたけど、父とビルを飲みにいった。

今日車から僕のものを全部出して、部屋にきれいに置いた。昼から仕事と勉強です。（ブログも、もちろん）

I finally made it to my parents' house!!

I left Alana's place Monday at about noon and headed for Philadelphia. My Uncle Joe and Aunt Judy live nearby, so I stayed with them. (Thank you so much!) My cousin Jessie really helped out with my dog. She'd been so anxious with all the traveling.

Tuesday and Wednesday I visited the University of Pennsylvania. I enjoyed my time there. It's a beautiful campus and everyone was so nice.

Around three in the afternoon, I left my aunt and uncle's house for Huntingdon and arrived around 7. I was super tired but I still went and had a beer with my dad.

Today, I got everything out of my car and organized my new room. And since lunch I've been working and studying. (And doing my blog, too, of course)

Virginia Visit

I'm on the road now. Visiting my friend Alana in Richmond, Virginia. She lived in Osaka when I was in Japan, and we went to UGA together.

We're having fun reminiscing about Japan, but it's making us a bit sad. If only the country were closer...

I sprained my ankle earlier this week, and Alley, my dog, is along for the trip, so it's been interesting and difficult. I can't get around to see all the things Alana wanted me to see. But the weather has been rain and drear, so staying in, watching movies, and drinking wine has seemed more appropriate than getting out.

今車で旅行しています。バージニア州のリッチモンド市で友達のアラナさんを会いに来ました。私が日本に住んでいるときに彼女が大阪に住んでいました。アメリカで同じ大学に通いました。

一緒に話して、日本はめちゃ懐かしい。話でちょっと寂しくなる。国がもっと近かったらいいよね。。。

日曜日に足首をひねました。それと私の犬のアリーちゃんと旅行しています。だからちょっと大変です。アラナさんはあちこち観光させてくれたかったけど私は歩くことが長い間でできません。でも嫌な天気ですので、家にいて、映画を見たり、ワインを飲んだりするのが外に出ることより適当なことです。

I thought I would add a post-script to my previous blog. I forgot to mention last spring whether or not I passed my Japanese test as several people have pointed out.

Well if I never told you, I PASSED!!!

I'm currently studying to take the next level of the test. This one will be more of a stretch than the last one, but it's motivating to have something to work towards.

忘れたけど。。。

前のブログについてですけど。ポストを忘れました。十二月に二級の日本語能力試験を受けることについてブログに書きました。でも三月に結果についてのポストを忘れました。よくいわれましたけど。。。

じゃ、合格したあぁぁぁ〜〜〜〜〜！！

今次の一級の試験を合格することのために勉強しています。今度の試験は前の試験よりやっぱり難しいです。でもテストがあって、もっと一生懸命勉強したい。

Busy and Traveling

前のブログポストからもう一ヶ月以上かかった。ごめんなさい。ちょっと忙しかったこん間。

今兄とアトランタ市に住んでいる。色々な友達と会えた。二回サヴァナ市に行った。妹がそこに住んでいるから。二回目姉がアリゾナ州から引っ越しした。今から妹と姉は一緒に住んでいる。

でも両親とはまだ会えませんでした。ペンシルヴァニア州に住んでいる。来週そこへ車で行く。ついでにヴァジニア州に行って友達と会う予定だ。それからフィラデルフィア市に行って大学を訪れる。その後は母と父と二年間の久しぶりにあう。

It's been over a month since my last post. Sorry about that. I've been a bit busy lately.

I'm living with my brother in Atlanta right now. I've been able to meet with several friends. Twice I've gone down to Savannah because my little sister lives there. The second time my older sister was moving in with her. So they live together now.

But I haven't had a chance to see my parents. They live in Pennsylvania. Next week I'll be heading that way. On the way I have plans to stop and see my friend in Virginia. From there I'll go to Philadelphia to visit a university. After that, after 2 years, I'll see my parents.
